Hi
I have found in amongst my collection of British coins one that is the same size as a threepence but instead of the 3 under the crown it has a 4
Any ideas as to what it is?
Cheers
Neil
It should be slightly larger, if so then it's a groat, or fourpence. In modern years these were only issued as part of 4 coin maundy sets.
Does it look liked the attached?
